EXCLUSIVE: Fan feedback led MSU to move MSUFCU logo from front of football helmet
Michigan State listened to its fans, and MSUFCU was willing to listen, too.

When the Spartans unveiled their uniform combination for Friday night’s season opener against Toledo, one detail immediately stood out: The MSUFCU logo originally planned for the front bumper of Michigan State’s football helmet was gone. In its place was the familiar “STATE” wordmark.
Michigan State athletic director Dan Bartholomae told Spartans Illustrated that the athletic department reconsidered the logo’s placement after hearing from fans and others within the university community.
