The Spartans will face early Big Ten action at home versus Minnesota to open December and play at Maryland a week later.

League play resumes on the road in the new year with a trip to Nebraska before hosting Washington. Then it's back out west, this time all the way to the Pacific Coast for road games at UCLA followed by USC before a likely red eye flight home that Wednesday morning Eastern Time.

MSU hosts Oregon to close out West Coast teams on the year before taking the comparatively short flight to Columbus to take on Ohio State. January closes out with the start of a three game homestand facing Penn State and Purdue before closing it out with a February return visit by UMD.

It's back on the road after that with a trip to Illinois before hosting Rutgers. Longtime Scarlet Knights head coach Steve Pikiell will be limited in his role with the team this season as he announced just a week ago he has been diagnosed with and is undergoing treatment for cancer. He will be limited in his capacities as head coach this season as a result while he focuses on the battle ahead.

Looming just after RU will be the first matchup against Michigan, this one in Ann Arbor on Feb. 13. Just a short three days later the Spartans will remain on the road with a trip to Iowa before hosting a return visit by UNL. As February comes to a close, it's back on the road at Indiana before the return visit by the Wolverines to end the month on Feb. 26. While the visit to Ann Arbor falls on a Saturday, the return by UM comes on a Friday instead.

As the calendar flips to Izzo March, MSU closes out the season at Northwestern before hosting Wisconsin to close the season.

Broadcasting information and start times will be released at a later date. Additionally, there remains one more non-conference game that has not yet been released.
