For the first time since Oct. 11, the No. 3 Michigan State hockey team will return to Munn Ice Arena this weekend. The Spartans are 5-1 with a top-10 victory under their belt as they look to close out this portion of their nonconference schedule against No. 13 Boston University.
A 5-1 start is encouraging, though the Spartans’ performances have raised some concerns. Wisconsin and Michigan have already shown how competitive the Big Ten could be all season, giving fans plenty to watch for this weekend as one of the youngest teams in NCAA hockey continues to develop.
