Recruit Reactions: Early intel after Michigan State's first weekend of official visits
MSU hosted more than a dozen recruits during its first weekend of official visits (May 29-May 31). Read thoughts from several prospects.
Michigan State's 2027 recruiting class currently stands at seven commitments. Head coach Pat Fitzgerald and his staff now look to add several prospects to the group over the course of the next few weeks during official visit season.
The Spartans hosted more than a dozen prospects for the program's first weekend of official visits, which started on May 29 and ended on May 31.
Many of these prospects still want to keep options open and take their other visits before making a commitment decision. However, Michigan State has positioned itself well with those who were on campus this past weekend.
Spartans Illustrated spoke to several of MSU's visitors from the opening weekend of official visits. Thoughts and quotes from the prospects who responded to Spartans Illustrated's request for comment have been provided below (in no particular order).
