Michigan State Spartans fans face the ultimate what-if: who would win a seven-game series between the beloved 2019-2020 "What If" squad—led by Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman—and the yet-unseen 2026-2027 team stacked with rising stars like Jeremy Fears, Jordan Scott, and Coen Carr? The debate rages on as strengths, weaknesses, and individual matchups are analyzed, calling out key factors like assist rate, perimeter defense, and bench depth. Could the future Spartans’ improved shooting and defense overpower the established leadership of Winston and Tillman, or does experience and top-heavy talent still reign supreme?
